Here’s what all the kids are wearing this season. Adults, too. Well, the tech-savvy adults. I’ll take mine in fuchsia, with feather trim.

What’s most awesome about these pants, however, is how you inflate them. The pictures don’t show the Inflatorr Tube (TM), or where you put the tube. So these are organic, Earth-friendly pants — no non-biodegradable petroleum by-products necessary. Except when you make the pants out of recycled tires and oil sludge, but that’s not so bad.

Her first proper BBQ

Our little darling had her first true Texas bar-b-que this weekend. We took her to the Salt Lick in Dripping Springs. She quite enjoyed the brisket, pickles, raw onions, and, of course, the blackberry cobbler:

Here’s a sample of the spread. We all had all-you-can-eat meals, and ended up getting three refills of the meat plate (and had leftovers to take home). Awww yeah.

The Salt Lick produces mass quanties of the best pork ribs on the planet. This is a fact. Their bbq sauce is good enough to bathe in. Their sausage is teh hawt. As is their cole slaw and hash browns. Pure BBQ perfection.

We were accompanied by our friends from Tasmania, Jo and Jac. So far I’ve introduced them to the joys of proper soul food and Texas BBQ. The Gnarly Head Zinfandel Jac brought was tasty plonk, as well.
