I just added a JuicyMusic Audio Peach preamp to my system. This thing is sweet. A single-ended, tube-rectified preamp with four inputs, standby mode, and mono! Perfect. Technics SL1200MK2, found it at an estate sale. I mounted my Graco MC+ mono cart on a Stanton headshell with 4gm weight, balanced it, set VTF to 2g, and let it go. Dang, this thing makes music, and the bass just jumps out of it. My June Christy LPs have never sounded so good.

Here is my contribution to the excellent 365 Days project, for old time’s sake. It’s a cut from my copy of Myron Floren’s Disco Polka album, ripped to my Apple G4 via Dual 1229Q turntable. Doesn’t sound so bad if you ask me. Oh, and hello you Let’s Polka people! Thanks for the link!
